About
I am the study coordinator on the eBRAIN study at King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. In eBRAIN we are investigating the impact of early life adversity on the neurodevelopment and mental health of adolescents. I began working at the IoPPPN in 2017 as a research assistant on the SINAPS trial and PPiP study investigating auto-immune antibodies in Psychosis. Prior to this I have worked in clinical psychology settings in the NHS and previously completed a BSc in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol.
I am currently completing a PhD part time at the IoPPN focussing on Amygdala function in resilient adolescents who have experienced early life stress and adversity.
As I researcher, I am interested in the neurobiological basis of mental health problems and resilience, and I am also passionate about public engagement in science which is why I am so excited to contribute to Inspire the Mind.
